Absorption curves - mineral-extraction under an aeroponic system for white chrysanthemum (Dendranthema grandiflorum (Ramat.) Kitam. cv. Atlantis White) Acta Agron. (Palmira)
Chica Toro,Faber de Jesús; Garzón-González,Jorge M..
Abstract The aim of this study focused on the construction of the absorption and extraction curves under an aeroponic system for White chrysanthemum cv. Atlantis White, and therefore, propose the periods of maximum and minimum nutrient accumulation from aboveground, root and total biomass. Vegetative cycle of the plant, measured from the day after transplantation (dat) to aeroponic system, and the first day of court lasted 49 days. Evaluations were carried out each week on plants, in absolute competition. For the average aboveground biomass, three replicates were recorded. To obtain total root biomass only one sample, was measured. Therefore, total biomass in average, had achieved 130.9313 g.plant-1, where 72.26% (94.163 g) corresponded to the aboveground...

Effects of vinasse and lithothanmium application on the initial growth of sugar cane (Saccharum sp. cv. RB 86-7515) irrigated and not irrigated Acta Agron. (Palmira)
Maradiaga-Rodriguez,Walter Danilo; Pêgo-Evangelista,Adão Wagner; Alves Júnior,José; Costa,Rommel Bernardes-da.
Abstract The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of different doses of organic fertilization with doses of lithothanmium and vinasse on the initial growth of sugarcane cv. RB 86-7515. The study was carried out in the experimental area of the School of Agronomy, of Universidade Federal de Goiás, Brazil. A completely randomized experimental design was carried out to analyze data with three replicates, in a 5 x 5 x 2 factorial scheme. Plants were cultivated in containers of 200 liters. Treatments correspond to five vinasse doses (0, 165, 330, 495 and 660 m3.h-1) and five doses of lithothanmium (0, 100, 200, 300 and 400 kg.ha-1) and sugarcane cultivation under irrigated and rainfed conditions. Irrigation was carried out using a drip emitter system...

Nutrient contents in camu-camu plants (Myrciaria dubia (Kunth) McVaugh) fertirrigateds with different doses of nitrogen Acta Agron. (Palmira)
Abanto-Rodríguez,Carlos; Chagas,Edvan Alves; da Silva Siqueira,Raphael Henrique; Araújo,Wellington Farias; Zborowski,Luiz Guilherme Carvalho; Souza,Caio César Pinho; Sakasaki,Roberto Tadashi; Lopes Monteiro Neto,João Luiz; Sánchez-Choy,José.
Abstract Camu-camu (Myrciaria dubia (Kunth) McVaugh) is a native fruit tree, which is in domestication process, therefore, knowledge of nutritional needs is essential to improve the fertilization efficiency throughout plant development. The aim of this research was to determine the nutrient content of camu-camu plants as a function of nitrogen fertilization via fertirrigation in the first year of cultivation. An experiment was carried out in a randomized complete block design, with 5 treatments as follows: 0; 40; 80; 120 and 160 kg.ha-1 of N, eight replicates and seven plants per experimental unit. The evaluated variables were as follows: total dry matter and nutrient contents in camu-camu leaves. The results show total dry matter of camu-camu plants,...

Yield and nutrition of greenhouse-grown strawberries (Fragaria χ ananassa (Duchesne ex Weston) Duchesne ex Rozier. cv. Camarosa) as affected by potassium fertilization Acta Agron. (Palmira)
Schwarz,Kélin; Vilela-Resende,Juliano Tadeu; Pierozan-Junior,Clovis; Paula,Juliana Tauffer-de; Baier,João Eduardo; de Souza-Silva,Maria Ligia; Brendler-Oliveira,Felipe.
Abstract In strawberry, potassium fertilization has been little studied, which difficult management strategies for an increasing yield and understanding the use of this nutrient in strawberry crop. The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of sources and rates of potassium (K) fertilizers on yield, K level and agronomic traits of strawberry cv. Camarosa fruit, carried out under greenhouse conditions. A randomized in a completely block design with four replicates in a factorial arranged 6x3 (six rates of potassium x three sources of potassium fertilizers), was performed. Fertilizers sources used were as follows: potassium sulphate, potassium nitrate and potassium chloride in 0, 60, 120, 180, 240 and 300 kg ha-1 K2O doses. An increasing potassium...
